Meet our Model: Hunter

At Teeko + Co., we strive to amplify the people involved in each collection. Hunter came to our photoshoot timid but ready to work. With no experience, Hunter was clearly a natural at modeling. Below, we learn more about Hunter.

How have you been taking care of yourself during COVID? What is your daily routine now?
By spending tons of time outside! I typically go for a walk every day in order to catch some sunshine. I also try to mix up what I do when I'm outside, whether that be relaxing with friends, reading a book or tanning, being outside has really helped counter my quarantine blues!

You’ve talked about being a first-generation college student. Congrats on graduating in May! What are your plans?
This June I will start working full time as a case manager for Keystone Community Services. I am super excited to give back to the community and put my Social Work degree to good use! I'm excited to start this new chapter in my life and see what it brings.

If it wasn’t for money, what would you rather spend your time on?
Traveling and meeting new people are on the top of my bucket list! The world is full of so many people to meet, sights to see and places to visit. I hope that one day I'll make it to all seven continents - even Antarctica! So far, I can check off North America and Asia.

What are your favorite local restaurants? And what are your favorite things to cook?
Unfortunately, I'm not the best cook (definitely going to change that this summer though!), but do I love to eat! I'm challenging myself to learn how to properly make sushi this summer, a favorite food of mine. Some of my favorite restaurants include El Burrito in West Saint Paul, French Meadow in Minneapolis and, before it's closing, Blue Door Pub in Saint Paul.
