Meet our Model: Oriane

The beautiful Oriane works for an architectural firm during the day while attending graduate school by night. She is a 27 year old Ivorian and Togolese who came to America pursuing higher education. She's passionate about design, art and behavioral sciences.

What are you excited about for the holidays?
Taking a break, and spending time with my family and my friends.

How many languages do you speak and what are they?
Officially? Just two, French and English, but I dabble here and there in a few others ahah, don't ask.

What's a culture shock about America that you still haven't gotten over?
I'd say dairy in everything. Pulled pork? Also being able to return anything I buy that I do not end up liking.

It will be two years of us under covid, how has the pandemic impacted your life and what have you done to keep yourself sane?
The pandemic forced me to re-evaluate my life and myself as an individual. I have learned a lot about myself, my relationship with others and the value of pouring inwards. I spent a lot of time on Facetime connecting with my people, working out, listening to podcasts and trying to learn more about myself. I also did some painting and drawings here and there.

What are your top Spotify artists?
Spotify? I don't know her. I use Apple Music. Always and forever Kid Cudi, If you know you know. Currently I've been listening to Amine, Summer Walker and a mix of personal "Feel Joy" playlist; Ivorian songs, Afro beats, Mixed/Alternative genres.
